5000 upper limit - If you have a lot of friends and you are close to this limit, you may have a big job on your hands to reorganise your friends list.
Why the big number?
Before your say it, yes the total sets most of our heads spinning. Every "Friends link" needs space, because the posts on "your wall" need to be available to Facebook friends and fed through to other social media channels!!
What is the alternative?
You can set up a Facebook business page (a.k.a. Fan page). Social media management workshops will be announced after Christmas.
